Click on the link for the Sensitron site, where you can request a free tutorial on gas detection in CD-Rom format.

In addition the site has details of all the sensors we offer, see below:

Gas Detection Sensors:

SMART2: Using catalytic bead technology to detect flammable gases (in %LEL) or electrochemical cells to detect toxic gases (in ppm),  the SMART2 detectors can be used as standalone units with relay outputs or connected to either the PL4-8 4-zone panel or the Gallileo range of panels. Explosion-proof housings are also available.
SMART IDI: The addressable version of the Smart gas detection range. These detectors must be connected to the Galileo IDI control panel.

SMART DISPLAY: The version of the Smart2 gas detection range with a built in display.

Gas Detection Panels:

PL 4:  A 4-zone microprocessor panel (expandable to 8-zone) for 4-20 mA detectors, either flammable, toxic or oxygen depletion. Compatible with Smart 2 detectors. There is also a facility for connecting two-wire conventional smoke and heat detectors.

Galileo PLG8-16:  An 8-zone panel upgradeable to 16 with programmable outputs for 4-20 mA detectors, either flammable, toxic or oxygen depletion. The panel has a printer port and a large event log. Provision is made for programming and monitoring the panel using a PC.

Galileo IDI:  A powerful panel capable of handling up to 120 Smart IDI detectors on 4 loops of 30 each, with individual thresholds and fully programmable outputs, also PC port, printer port.

Galileo Multiscan:  A powerful panel with individual thresholds and fully programmable outputs, also PC port, printer port and event log. The Multiscan exists in two versions, the MULTISCAN LIGHT can manage up to 104 analogue gas detectors, while the MULTISCAN PARKING can handle 200  detectors. These large numbers are monitored through remote modules of 8 inputs each. Large numbers of outputs are possible through similar remote modules.
PCM6-02: A very flexible card that has two seperate analogue inputs, and powerful features that make it suitable for a variety of industrial applications. Can be used to monitor Smart detectors and can itself be connected to Multiscan IDI.
